This oil is extracted in a traditional way from prickly pear cactus seeds harvested from from Oueslatia and nearby regions. In late August, mature fruits are hand picked, cleaned, peeled and crushed. Then, the seeds were hand washed and dried in shade and low moisture content environment and stored.
